eurucamp is not just a conference. As the name suggests, it's also an opportunity for fellow developers to unwind, get back to nature, and do some good old fashioned camping.

Like last year, we are offering attendees the opportunity to camp it up, at eurucamp. Camping tickets are now officially on sale, and are only 25 euro for three nights (July 30th - August 2nd). You really can't get much cheaper than that in Brandenburg, and staying close to the conference is highly recommended. Not only does it make things a bit more relaxed, but it's also a great way to unwind at the end of the day and soak in everything you've heard and learned.

The Bäkewiese campground, your outdoor home away from home, has washrooms, a shared kitchen, a covered area incase it rains, and a firepit. It's only a ten minute bike ride away. Or, if walking is more your style, it takes 25 minutes. Or if you're the indecisive type, it's a two minute bus ride on the #181, plus a 15 minute walk.

But of course, finding hidden gems like these are always better with friends, so why not form a group and head there together? We've just launched the eurucamp activities app, and it's the perfect place to plan such an outing.

Just picture yourself, a few short weeks from now, finishing off your first day at eurucamp. You've gone swimming in a local lake with new friends, played frisbee on the fields of the University of Potsdam, listened to a favourite developer discuss advancements in the field, and discovered new speakers who explored old topics in strange and exciting ways. You've had a lot of Club Mate. You hop on your rented bike, and ride through the forests of Brandenburg as the sun sets behind the thick forest. You cruise into the campground, and spend the last few minutes of the day watching the stars slowly appear. You crawl into your warm sleeping bag. Your computer is off, you mind is full.

Seriously, what could be better?
